VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET is a combination of two drugs: Voglibose (Alpha-Glucosidase inhibitor) and Metformin (Biguanide). VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET is used to lower blood glucose levels in people with type-2 diabetes.

Special Instructions for VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET

• Take VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET with meals or as directed by the physician. Take meals regularly to balance blood sugar levels.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol while on VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET medication.
• Do not take VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET if you are allergic to any of the drugs or ingredients mentioned in the label.
• Take VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET with caution if you have liver or kidney problems, severe infections, metabolic acidosis or alcohol addiction.
• Your doctor may suggest blood tests regularly to monitor your blood glucose levels.

Q) How does VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET work? A) VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET is a combination of two drugs: Voglibose and Metformin. VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET is used to lower the blood sugar levels in type-2 diabetic patients. Insulin helps in uptake of glucose molecules by muscles. Diabetic patients have low levels of insulin in their blood. Metformin decreases formation of glucose by liver and increases glucose uptake by muscles. Thus, metformin decreases blood sugar levels. Voglibose helps to keep blood glucose levels in control by reducing the amount of glucose that is digested and absorbed from the food. VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET is used when treatment with single or double drugs is not effective. VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET is a third-line treatment for diabetes.
Q) Can I stop taking VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET on my own? A) No, you are advised to take VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET until and unless your doctor says otherwise. VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET contains a drug VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLETd metformin. Furosemide, when given along with metformin, increases the levels of both furosemide and metformin. This may result in unwanted harmful effects. If you are using furosemide and are prescribed VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET, please speak with your doctor.
Q) Does VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET cause hypoglycaemia? A) If VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET is taken along with other antidiabetic medicines, there is a chance for hypoglycaemia to occur. Although VOGLOYD M 0.2MG TABLET seldom causes hypoglycaemia, there are chances for a diabetic patient to experience hypoglycaemia when taken in large doses.
