Uses of VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET

VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET is a combination of three anti-diabetic drugs: Glimepiride (Sulfonyl urea), Voglibose (Alpha glucosidase inhibitor) and Metformin (Biguanide). VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET is used to treat type-2 diabetes.

Special Instructions for VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET

• Take VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET with or without food. Take it once per day or as advised by your doctor. For best results take it at a fixed time every day.
• Remember to always monitor your blood glucose levels despite medicine intake.
• A low-carbohydrate healthy diet and 45 minutes of brisk walk daily along with VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET has been found to give very good results in people with type 2 diabetes.
• Routinely get your liver function tests done to check for proper functioning of the liver.
• Before driving or performing any strenuous activity after taking VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET make sure your blood glucose levels are in good control.
• Do not hesitate to speak with a doctor if you experience hazy vision, yellowing of skin, shaky hands, extreme anxiousness, severe stomach pain and profuse sweating.

Q) How does VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET work? A) VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET is a combination of three anti-diabetic drugs: Glimepiride (Sulfonyl urea), Voglibose (Alpha glucosidase inhibitor) and Metformin (Biguanide). Glimepiride lowers the blood glucose levels by increasing the amount of insulin release from the pancreas. Voglibose works by preventing the breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars like glucose, thereby prevents blood glucose levels from rising. Metformin lowers glucose production in liver and delays glucose absorption from intestine.
Q) Does VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET cause hypoglycemia? A) VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET helps to lower your blood glucose to as normal level as possible. But sometimes it might cause hypoglycemia (lowering of blood glucose level than normal). Symptoms include fatigue, dizziness, profuse sweating, tachycardia (fast heartbeat), and vision disorders. Regular monitoring of your blood-glucose levels is advised while you are on this medication as hypoglycemia could be a side-effect of VOGLOW GM 3/0.3MG TABLET. However, it is a rare side-effect which is not necessary for all people to experience.
