Uses of TORSINOL 5MG TABLET
TORSINOL 5MG TABLET belongs to a group of medicines called diuretics. TORSINOL 5MG TABLET is used in treatment of high blood pressure and oedema (fluid retention) caused by heart failure.
Special Instructions for TORSINOL 5MG TABLET
• Take TORSINOL 5MG TABLET irrespective of meals and at the same time daily for best results. Take TORSINOL 5MG TABLET only when prescribed by a doctor.
• TORSINOL 5MG TABLET is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
• Avoid taking TORSINOL 5MG TABLET if you are allergic to sulphonylureas, if you have severe kidney or liver problems, if you suffer from low blood pressure, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, if you are taking cephalosporin or aminoglycoside antibiotic, if have developed kidney problems due to taking medicines which cause kidney damage. Do not TORSINOL 5MG TABLET if any of the above applies to you.
• Take TORSINOL 5MG TABLET with precaution if you suffer from diabetes, if you suffer from gout, if you have low sodium and/or potassium levels in your blood, if have hypovolaemia, if have any problems passing urine, if you have an abnormal heart beat. Always, keep checking with your doctor while you are on TORSINOL 5MG TABLET if you have any of the above condition.
