TAZOLEX 1.125GM INJECTION is a combination of two drugs: Ceftriaxone (Cephalosporin Antibiotic) and Tazobactam (Beta-lactamase inhibitor). TAZOLEX 1.125GM INJECTION is used to treat bacterial infections.

Special Instructions for TAZOLEX 1.125GM INJECTION

• Take TAZOLEX 1.125GM INJECTION after having a meal to avoid stomach upset.
• Please do not self-administer TAZOLEX 1.125GM INJECTION. Your doctor/nurse will administer it.
• Do not take TAZOLEX 1.125GM INJECTION if you have or had an allergic reaction to antibiotics like cephalosporins, monobactams or carbapenems. Symptoms of allergic reaction include swelling of face, throat, hands, feet, ankles or severe rashes that develop quickly.
• Please do not stop taking TAZOLEX 1.125GM INJECTION even though you feel better. You are advised to take TAZOLEX 1.125GM INJECTION for as long as your doctor has prescribed it.
• Please consult your doctor if you have diarrhea after the medicine is administered. You are advised to drink plenty of water and to take non-spicy meals.
