RANITIDINE uses

RANITIDINE belongs to the class of H2-receptor-blocker. RANITIDINE is used in treatment of stomach ulcers, acidity, indigestion, heartburn, and Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome.

• Sore throat

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR RANITIDINE

• Take RANITIDINE at least 1 hour before meals for best results.
• Avoid spicy meals, citrus fruits, jams, lemons and pickles to reduce acid reflux incidences.
• Do not take antacids along with RANITIDINE. Keep a gap of at least 1-2 hours for RANITIDINE to work effectively.
• If your symptoms of acidity and heartburn do not improve within 15 days of taking RANITIDINE then inform your doctor. Do not take it endlessly, RANITIDINE can be harmful if taken for a long time. You may require further investigations.
• Stop taking RANITIDINE if you have noticed blood in stool.
• Take RANITIDINE with caution if you have a known liver, kidney or perforation in gastrointestinal tract.
