Uses of Omerax Capsule
Omerax Capsule is a proton pump inhibitor. Omerax Capsule used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), duodenal or stomach ulcer and NSAIDs-associated ulcers. Omerax Capsule is also used in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and Hyperacidity.
Special Instructions for Omerax Capsule
• Omerax Capsule is to be given by healthcare professionals. Omerax Capsule is prescribed when your doctor thinks injections are more suitable to you than tablets. Your doctor may replace your injections as soon as your doctor sees fit.
• Your doctor or nurse will administer Omerax Capsule into a vein.
• Seek medical help immediately if you experience any allergic reactions like sudden wheezing, swelling of your tongue, lips and throat or body, rash, fainting or difficulties in swallowing.
• Avoid taking Omerax Capsule with medicine containing nelfinavir (used for HIV infection).
• Check for blood in stool, in case you experience blood in stool inform your doctor and stop taking Omerax Capsule at once.
• If you are taking Omerax Capsule for a long time, you may have low levels of calcium and other essential minerals. Keep a check on calcium levels while taking Omerax Capsule.
• Always keep your doctor informed about the ongoing medication or the ones which you have taken in the past, including over-the-counter medicines and herbal medicines
