MUPICLIN OINTMENT belongs to group of medicines called antibiotics. MUPICLIN OINTMENT is used to kill bacteria in skin infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, and boils.

Special Instructions for MUPICLIN OINTMENT


• Apply MUPICLIN OINTMENT to the affected area of skin up to three times a day as directed by your physician.
• You can cover the affected area with a plaster or any suitable dressing, unless your doctor has told you to leave it uncovered.
• Always wash your hands before and after using MUPICLIN OINTMENT.
• Put a thin film of MUPICLIN OINTMENT on the entire affected skin using your fingertips.
• Avoid using MUPICLIN OINTMENT to treat infections in your nose, eyes and around intravenous cannula sites.
• Avoid contact with the eyes when using MUPICLIN OINTMENT on face. If you accidentally get MUPICLIN OINTMENT in your eye, wash it out with cold water. If you start noticing any problems with your eye, contact your doctor immediately.
• Speak to your doctor before taking MUPICLIN OINTMENT if you have open wounds or damaged skin.
• You are strongly recommended to apply MUPICLIN OINTMENT as prescribed by your doctor/pharmacist. Avoid applying MUPICLIN OINTMENT to other areas of your body.
