Uses of MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET

MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET is a combination of two drugs: Amoxycillin (Antibiotic) and Clavulanic acid (Beta lactamase inhibitor). MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET combination is used in the treatment of certain infections caused by bacteria including infections of lungs, middle ear, sinus, skin, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, bone and joint infections.

Special Instructions for MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET

• Take MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET with food to avoid stomach upset.
• You are advised to take MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET whole with a glass of water.
• It is not recommended to take MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET for more than 2 weeks. If you still feel unwell, please contact your doctor.
• Do not take MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET if you are allergic to it. If you experience skin rash or swelling of the face or throat, please contact your doctor immediately.
• You are strongly recommended to take MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET in prescribed dose and duration as advised by your doctor/pharmacist.
• MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET tablets are not suitable for children weighing less than 25 kg. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice when giving MOXIKIND CV KID TABLET tablets to children weighing less than 40 kg.

It works by interfering with the ability of bacteria to form cell wall which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic acid is a beta lactamase inhibitor. It works by reducing the resistance of bacteria and enhances the activity of Amoxycillin against bacteria.
