GLYCOMET TRIO FORTE 1MG TABLET is a combination of three anti-diabetic drugs: Glimepiride (Sulfonyl urea), Voglibose (Alpha glucosidase inhibitor) and Metformin (Biguanide). Glimepiride lowers the blood glucose levels by increasing the amount of insulin release from the pancreas. Voglibose works by preventing the breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars like glucose, thereby prevents blood glucose levels from rising. Metformin lowers glucose production in liver and delays glucose absorption from intestine.
