GLIMET DS TABLET is a combination of two antidiabetic drugs: Glipizide and Metformin. GLIMET DS TABLET is used to treat type 2 diabetes and lower blood glucose levels.

Special Instructions for GLIMET DS TABLET

• Take GLIMET DS TABLET with meals to avoid stomach upset.
• A low-carbohydrate healthy diet and 45 mins of brisk walk daily along with GLIMET DS TABLET is recommended for best results.

A. GLIMET DS TABLET is a combination of two antidiabetic drugs: Glipizide and Metformin. Insulin generally removes excess sugar from the blood. In type 2 diabetes, insulin hormone that is responsible for controlling blood sugar levels is not produced in the body or body doesn’t use insulin properly. GLIMET DS TABLET works by stimulating certain cells in pancreas to produce insulin and thus, lowers blood sugar levels in the body.
