Q) How does ETERNEX M 1000MG TABLET work? A) Glucose is one of the important components required for energy production. After digestion, glucose molecules enter bloodstream. This blood glucose needs to enter cells to be converted into energy. Normally, insulin (a hormone) takes care of this. But in diabetic patients, insulin is not produced in required amounts. As a result, glucose is not taken up by the cells and remains in blood. This increases blood sugar levels. ETERNEX M 1000MG TABLET increases insulin levels and reduces glucose production by liver. These two processes help to keep blood glucose level in check.
Q) Can I take ETERNEX M 1000MG TABLET if I have impaired kidney function? A) Yes, you can take ETERNEX M 1000MG TABLET if you have kidney problems. However, your doctor will prescribe you lower than normal doses. This is to prevent any additional side effects because the drug is not eliminated at the normal rate.

This may lead to excessive lowering of blood sugar levels than required. If you are using lisinopril and are prescribed with ETERNEX M 1000MG TABLET, please speak with your doctor.
