ESOMEPRAZOLE is a proton pump inhibitor. ESOMEPRAZOLE is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease. ESOMEPRAZOLE is also used in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
