Uses of ESOMEG 20MG TABLET
ESOMEG 20MG TABLET is a proton pump inhibitor. ESOMEG 20MG TABLET is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease. ESOMEG 20MG TABLET helps in prevention of NSAID-associated gastric ulcer in adults. ESOMEG 20MG TABLET helps in reducing the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence by eradication of H. pylori. ESOMEG 20MG TABLET is also used in the treatment of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Special Instructions for ESOMEG 20MG TABLET
• Take ESOMEG 20MG TABLET at least 45- 30 mins before meals particularly for the medicine to work effectively.
• Taking ESOMEG 20MG TABLET in the morning will effectively reduce stomach acid production for a long duration in the day.
• ESOMEG 20MG TABLET is not advisable for children until and unless prescribed by a child specialist.
• If you do not get relief from your symptoms within 10-15 days of taking ESOMEG 20MG TABLET discuss with your doctor, there may be some other underlying medical condition which needs to be investigated.
• Check for blood in stool, incase you experience occult blood (blood in stool), then inform your doctor instantly and stop taking ESOMEG 20MG TABLET
