DEXASONE INJECTION is a synthetic corticosteroid drug. DEXASONE INJECTION is used to treat inflammation in acute conditions where oral corticosteroid treatment is not possible and when fast response is needed such as shock, rheumatoid arthritis, allergic reactions and Swelling of the brain due to brain tumour.

Special Instructions for DEXASONE INJECTION

• DEXASONE INJECTION will be strictly given by a registered nurse or health care professional.
• Consult your doctor immediately if you experience sudden onset of itchy rash, swelling of the feet, hands, face, ankles, mouth, lips, or throat and high fever.
• Bring to your doctor's knowledge if you have or had any history of diabetes, osteoporosis, tuberculosis, high blood pressure, glaucoma, stomach ulcers, epilepsy, migraine, kidney or liver problems.
• Tell your doctor if you are allergic to DEXASONE INJECTION .

Q. How does DEXASONE INJECTION work? A. DEXASONE INJECTION is a corticosteroid. DEXASONE INJECTION works by reducing the production of chemicals that cause inflammation. Corticosteroids are produced naturally in the body and are important for many body functions.
