Uses of CHERICOF SYRUP

CHERICOF SYRUP is a combination of three drugs: Phenylephrine (nasal decongestant), chlorpheniramine (H1 antihistamine) and dextromethorphan (nonopioid antitussive). CHERICOF SYRUP is used to treat cough and common cold symptoms.

Special Instructions for CHERICOF SYRUP


• Take CHERICOF SYRUP irrespective of meals. If you experience stomach upset on intake, take CHERICOF SYRUP with meals.
• Consumption of alcohol along with CHERICOF SYRUP is not recommended as it may lead to excessive drowsiness and impairment of physical and mental activity.
• Before taking CHERICOF SYRUP, carefully read the label. If you are allergic to any of the ingredient mentioned in the label, do not take CHERICOF SYRUP and immediately inform your doctor.
• Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking currently or have taken in the past, including over-the-counter medicines and herbal products, especially cough syrups.
• Take CHERICOF SYRUP with caution if you have diabetes, thyroid disorders, chronic bronchitis, heart diseases or high blood pressure.
• CHERICOF SYRUP may result in drowsiness. Be careful while driving or operating machinery.
