Uses of Briocold Suspension

Briocold Suspension is a combination of two drugs: Montelukast (Leukotriene receptor antagonist) and Levocetirizine (antihistamine). Briocold Suspension is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, and sneezing. Briocold Suspension is also known to relieve hives and itching.

Special Instructions for Briocold Suspension

1) It is advised to take Briocold Suspension daily at the same time of the day irrespective of meals for best results.
2) Depending upon your age, weight and condition your doctor will decide the dose, do not self-medicate yourself. 
3) Consumption of alcohol and smoking along with Briocold Suspension is not recommended.
4) If you have heart disease, high blood pressure, uneven heart rate, diabetes, a hormonal condition called hyperthyroidism or low levels of potassium in your blood. Please inform your doctor before taking Briocold Suspension.
5) Be cautious while driving and engaging in activities which require mental and physical coordination. Briocold Suspension can cause mild drowsiness and sleepiness.
6) It is not recommended to take Briocold Suspension if you are planning to conceive or pregnant. Breast feeding women are also advised not to take it without consulting a doctor.

A) Briocold Suspension is a combination of two drugs. Montelukast is a Leukotriene receptor antagonist. It works by blocking the effects of leukotriene (substance produced by the body in response to certain triggers) that cause narrowing and swelling of airways in the lungs. Levocetirizine is an antihistamine. It works by blocking a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes.

A) Briocold Suspension is not a sedative drug. However, it has been known to cause drowsiness and sleepiness. You are advised to take it in the evening or night time to avoid day time drowsiness.
