BIGOMET 850MG TABLET is primarily used to lower blood glucose levels in people with Type 2 Diabetes. This medicine is also effectively used to delay the onset of diabetes in association with change in diet and lifestyle modifications.
Special Instructions for BIGOMET 850MG TABLET
• BIGOMET 850MG TABLET is a modified release tablet which means they have a special coating which allows the active ingredient of BIGOMET 850MG TABLET to be released slowly over time.
• BIGOMET 850MG TABLET is intended for adult patients only.
• Remember to always take it with meals to avoid hypoglycemic events (sudden dip in blood glucose levels).
• A low- carbohydrate healthy diet and 45 mins of brisk walk daily along with BIGOMET 850MG TABLET has been found to give very good results in people with type 2 diabetes.
• Before driving or performing any strenuous activity after taking BIGOMET 850MG TABLET, make sure your blood glucose levels are in good control.
• Do not hesitate to speak with a doctor if you experience hazy vision, dizziness, yellowing of skin, shaky hands, extreme anxiousness, severe stomach pain and profuse sweating.
• Do not take BIGOMET 850MG TABLET if you have liver problems, severely reduced kidney function, uncontrolled diabetes, with, severe hyperglycaemia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, rapid weight loss, lactic acidosis or ketoacidosis, dehydration, if you have been treated for acute heart problems or have recently had a heart attack or have severe circulatory problems or breathing difficulties, if you drink alcohol heavily, if you are under 18 years of age.
