AZITHROMYCIN is a macrolide antibiotic. AZITHROMYCIN used in treatment of acute bacterial sinusitis, acute bacterial otitis media, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, mild to moderately severe community acquired pneumonia, skin and soft tissue infections, uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis.
