ARTISAFE 60MG INJECTION belongs to the class of artemisinin derivatives. ARTISAFE 60MG INJECTION is used to treat malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum.

Special Instructions for ARTISAFE 60MG INJECTION

• Do not self-administer. ARTISAFE 60MG INJECTION is usually given by a doctor or nurse.
• You are advised to take oral medication after treating the critical phase of the falciparum malaria infection with ARTISAFE 60MG INJECTION to complete the treatment and avoid relapse.
• You are recommended to avoid taking ARTISAFE 60MG INJECTION if you are allergic to it.
• Seek medical help immediately if you experience itchy rash, difficulty in breathing, swelling of lips, face, tongue or other body parts as these might be signs of an allergic reaction.
• Drive only if you are alert as ARTISAFE 60MG INJECTION may cause drowsiness, dizziness or tiredness.
