ALPHAVOG M 0.3MG TABLET is a combination of two drugs: Voglibose (?-Glucosidase inhibitor) and Metformin (Biguanide). ALPHAVOG M 0.3MG TABLET is used to lower blood glucose levels in people with Type 2 Diabetes.

Special Instructions for ALPHAVOG M 0.3MG TABLET

• Take ALPHAVOG M 0.3MG TABLET with meals or as directed by the physician. Take meals regularly to balance blood sugar levels.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol while on ALPHAVOG M 0.3MG TABLET medication.
• Read the label carefully before taking name
• Do not take ALPHAVOG M 0.3MG TABLET if you are allergic to any of the drugs or ingredients mentioned in the label.

ALPHAVOG M 0.3MG TABLET is used to lower the blood sugar levels in diabetes type-2 patients. Insulin helps in uptake of glucose by muscles. Diabetic patients have low levels of insulin in their blood. Glimepiride increases the release of insulin from pancreas and controls the blood glucose levels. Metformin decreases formation of glucose by liver and increases glucose uptake by muscles. Thus, metformin decreases blood sugar levels. Voglibose helps to keep blood glucose levels in control by reducing the amount of glucose that is digested and absorbed from the food.
