Uses of ALLERCET SYRUP

ALLERCET SYRUP belongs to the class of antihistamines. ALLERCET SYRUP is used to reduce the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (swelling in the nose) and urticaria (red and itchy swollen skin) such as sneezing, runny, itchy or blocked nose, itchy skin rashes, itchy, red and watering eyes.

Special Instructions for ALLERCET SYRUP

• Take ALLERCET SYRUP irrespective of the meals daily at the same time for best results.
• Maintain proper oral hygiene while using ALLERCET SYRUP for a long period as it may result in increased risk of tooth decay due to dryness of the mouth.
• If you are about to undergo any test for allergy, you are recommended to stop using ALLERCET SYRUP three days prior to the test as ALLERCET SYRUP may affect the allergy skin tests results.
• Bring to your doctor’s notice if you have fits, spinal cord or kidney problems before taking ALLERCET SYRUP.
• If you have allergy to any sugars, please inform your doctor before taking ALLERCET SYRUP as it contains sorbitol and may cause adverse effects such as diarrhoea, gas, nausea and stomach pain.
