AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET belongs to the class of benzodiazepines. AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET is used to relieve anxiety, excitement and muscle tension. Also, AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET is used in controlling fits.

Special Instructions for AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET

• Do not self-administer. AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET is given by a doctor or nurse.
• You are recommended to avoid drinking alcohol for at least 24 to 48 hours after taking AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET as it may increase drowsiness, affect concentration, coordination or alertness.
• You are recommended to avoid taking AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET if you are pregnant as AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET may harm foetus.
• Do not drive for 24 to 48 hours after taking AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET as it may cause dizziness or drowsiness.
• Seek medical help immediately if you experience itchy rash, fainting, dizziness, difficulty in breathing, swelling of lips, face or tongue as these might be signs of an allergic reaction.
• Inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, eye or breathing problems before taking AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET.

AGIPAM 1 MG TABLET works by increasing the levels of nerve-calming chemical called GABA and suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
