Uses of AFYMOX CLAV TABLET
AFYMOX CLAV TABLET is a combination of two drugs: Amoxycillin (Antibiotic) and clavulanic acid (Beta lactamase inhibitor). AFYMOX CLAV TABLET combination is used in the treatment of certain infections caused by bacteria including infections of lungs, middle ear, sinus, skin, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, bone and joint infections.
Special Instructions for AFYMOX CLAV TABLET
• Take AFYMOX CLAV TABLET with food to avoid stomach upset.
• You are advised to take AFYMOX CLAV TABLET whole with a glass of water.
• It is not recommended to take AFYMOX CLAV TABLET for more than 2 weeks. If you still feel unwell, please contact your doctor.
• Do not take AFYMOX CLAV TABLET if you are allergic to it. If you experience skin rash or swelling of the face or throat, please contact your doctor immediately.
• You are strongly recommended to take AFYMOX CLAV TABLET in prescribed dose and duration as advised by your doctor/pharmacist.
• AFYMOX CLAV TABLET tablets are not suitable for children weighing less than 25 kg. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice when giving AFYMOX CLAV TABLET tablets to children weighing less than 40 kg.
