Uses of ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET
ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET is a combination of two drugs: Amoxycillin (Antibiotic) and clavulanic acid (Beta lactamase inhibitor). ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET combination is used in the treatment of certain infections caused by bacteria including infections of lungs, middle ear, sinus, skin, respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, bone and joint infections.
Special Instructions for ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET
• Take ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET with food to avoid stomach upset.
• You are advised to take ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET whole with a glass of water.
• It is not recommended to take ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET for more than 2 weeks. If you still feel unwell, please contact your doctor.
• Do not take ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET if you are allergic to it. If you experience skin rash or swelling of the face or throat, please contact your doctor immediately.
• You are strongly recommended to take ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET in prescribed dose and duration as advised by your doctor/pharmacist.
• ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET tablets are not suitable for children weighing less than 25 kg. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice when giving ACUCLAV 1GM TABLET tablets to children weighing less than 40 kg.
