ACILOC 150MG TABLET is one of a group of medicines called H2-antagonists. ACILOC 150MG TABLET is used in adults (including the elderly) to heal and stop ulcers of the stomach or duodenum. ACILOC 150MG TABLET is also used in children (6 months to 18 years) to heal ulcers in the stomach or duodenum.

Special Instructions for ACILOC 150MG TABLET

• ACILOC 150MG TABLET is given by healthcare professionals. ACILOC 150MG TABLET is prescribed when your doctor thinks injections are more suitable for you than tablets. Your doctor may replace your injections as soon as your doctor sees fit.
• Your doctor or nurse will administer ACILOC 150MG TABLET as a single injection into a muscle or as a slow infusion into a vein.
• Inform your doctor before taking ACILOC 150MG TABLET if you have stomach cancer, kidney problems, lung disease, if you are diabetic, if you suffer from acute porphyria or if you have problems with immune system.
• Seek medical help immediately if you experience any allergic reactions like severe itching of the skin, rash or hives on the skin, swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, face, tongue, lips, mouth or throat, which may cause difficulties in swallowing or breathing.
• Always keep your doctor informed about the ongoing medication or the ones which you have taken in the past, including over-the-counter medicines and herbal medicines.





Q. How does ACILOC 150MG TABLET work? A. ACILOC 150MG TABLET works by reducing the amount of acid produced in stomach. This in turn helps in reducing acidity and heartburn in people suffering from ulcers, hiatus hernia and other acidity related conditions.
Q. How long should I take ACILOC 150MG TABLET for ulcers? A. You are recommended to take ACILOC 150MG TABLET in prescribed dose and duration as advised by your doctor/pharmacist. It may take up to 8 weeks for some ulcers to heal. Keep using the medication as prescribed by your doctor. If your symptoms do not improve after 6 weeks of treatment then you may bring it to your doctors notice and try alternative medicines.
